MISS SARAH WEINSTEIN-BACAL: studied international business and international marketing in barcelona, spain; visited lagos, portugal, seville, spain, valencia, spain, amsterdam, netherlands, & london, england; her favorite place was lagos, spain, where she was able to visit the place that was once believed to be where the world ended (pictured above).
MISS MEGAN PECK: studied the history of the british peoples and languages through UT;s honors program; traveled throughout the country on weekly trips, including castle acre, the white cliffs of dover, stonehenge, london and zurich, switzerland; the highlight of her study abroad time was paragliding through the alps!
MISS ALAINA GREGERSON: traveled to surat, gujurat, india with the non-profit group, dr. interns, to bring medical attention to underprivileged areas and also give future medical professionals experience in global medicine; the group shadowed physicians at a trust hospital and went on cultural outings to better understand the culture and healthcare problems they face; since her trip, alaina has begun to start the dr. interns program here at tennessee!
MISS ELIZABETH STANFIELD: studied the works of great thinkers of the scottish enlightenment with her haslam scholars program class in edinburgh, scotland; she loved being able to explore the incredible and beautiful city of edinburgh and also loved renting a car and driving to the highlands to inverness, where she woke up at dawn to drive to loch ness!
MISS MEGAN WHITE: traveled to london, england, to study international business; not only did she travel throughout england, but she also was able to cross the channel and see paris!
so many of our chapter members travelled abroad this summer that including them all on one post made it far too lengthy! stay tuned for our next post, highlighting more alpha chi's abroad!
