alpha chi's abroad, part 2 of 2

in continuation of the previous post, below are more pictures and information from some of our alpha chi's time abroad this past summer! we had so many worldly sisters that they couldn't all be included in one post! wanderlust away!

MISS SARAH MISSIMER: studied the culture of london at the university of westminster in london, england; traveled to brighton, kent, and faro, portugal (seeing the algrave was a highlight of her trip); loved the view from the london eye (pictured above)!

MISS JULIA TANES: traveled to australia to study global supply chain and international business with UT; visited brisbane, cairns, sydney, fraser island, mooloolaba, maroochydore, noosa; her favorite thing was going to queenstown, new zealand, where she is pictured above skiing the caldron mountain!

MISS LINDSAY STILWELL: interned with a swimming academy in sydney, australia, where she taught children with disabilities the safety of water, drowning prevention, and how to swim; she loved working with one child in particular named bella who has severe autism (see bella's progress on her Facebook page, bella's walk); snorkeling the great barrier reef, eating kangaroo and climbing the sydney harbor bridge were also some of the best parts of her time in australia!

MISS MORGAN VEST: studied hospitality and tourism management in london, england, and paris, france; seeing the eiffel tower in person was her favorite part of her time there, as well as experiencing different european cultures; she already can't wait to go back!

from talking to all of the girls, two things were certainly clear: each one would not trade their time away from america for anything and encourage everyone who can to study abroad and see as much as they can. however, it is nice having all of our alpha chi's back in america!

go vols & go alpha chi!
