A monkey and banana, Mickey & Minnie, SpongeBob and
Patrick all in one chapter... No, this is not the start of a joke, but rather,
some of the costumes the sisters of Alpha Chi Omega wore this past month at
mixers and our date party.
At the start of the month, the brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon
invited us to a “Disney vs. Nickelodeon” themed mixer. In attendance was the
entire gang of Bikini Bottom, Disney princesses, a couple villains, the cast of
Recess and many more. We always have a ton of fun with the Sig Eps and were
thrilled to have our first mixer of 2015 with them!
“Snow never bothered us anyway” should have been the theme
for our date party. After being postponed due to an ice storm, the sisters of
Alpha Chi braved the six inches of falling snow to attend the rescheduled date
party. And it was worth it! Sisters showed up in some of the most creative
costumes for our “Pair-adise” date party! Barbie and Ken were there, Pizza and
Netflix, Princess Peach and Mario and a lot of other top-notch characters.
Gossip Girl’s Blaire and Serena were even in attendance curtsey of our
president, Alaina Gregerson and VP of Chapter Relations, Carley Carter.
With such a fun first two months back to school, we can’t
wait to see what the rest of the year holds!
