Sisterhood Event Celebrating MacDowell Month

What says sisterhood more than a competitive scavenger hunt around the Knoxville Museum of Art? Nothing.
On Sunday, February 1st, the sisters of Alpha Chi Omega came together to celebrate MacDowell Month and our sisterhood with a scavenger hunt through Knoxville’s local art museum. Given challenges, such as, recreating sculptures, posing in front of a “sitting wall” and finding one of our sister’s Aunt’s paintings everyone had a blast accomplishing the tasks. Planning the entire event was our Vice President of Membership Programming, Austen Nicole Evans. The event gave us the opportunity to bond with our sisters, be a little competitive and reflect on some amazing artwork!

As our chapter continues to celebrate MacDowell Month, we keep this quote in mind,
“To practice any art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow. So do it.” – Kurt Vonnegut

Happy MacDowell Month!
